The keyboard’s a much more precise instrument for directing Supercow’s actions. Supercow, the character, is maneuvered (or is that manoooovered?) with keyboard or mouse.
Thankfully, the challenge is never too great for anyone to overcome. Later level-based objectives include eradicating all enemies and locating the hidden keys necessary to unlock an exit. Action transpires via a single game mode with a one-size-fits-all difficulty setting, while play begins simply with a goal of finding the exit. The game’s charming level-by-level storyline of battling foes and rescuing livestock is presented through a mix of diary entries and voiced-over cut scenes. From its rural setting to the way enemies are dispatched, it’s family friendly from the start. It’s challenging without being overly difficult and serves up a good dose of wholesome (kinda like milk) entertainment for everyone from Junior to Grandma.
Supercow is a typical side-scrolling platform game, but decidedly more friendly to casual players than old-school games of this genre. Honestly, she wouldn’t be too super if she didn’t. And, armed with determination, set off on her mission to thwart Duriarti’s evil plans and rescue her barnyard buddies. All seemed lost!īut then, Supercow caught wind of the dastardly deeds. Immediately, the cold-hearted villain seized the humble homestead and incarcerated its inhabitants.
One day, however, everything changed: the infamous Professor Duriarti escaped from prison. Life in Sunny Valley was good, very good indeed. Cow first became Supercow in the Pilot, " No Smoking.The sun was shining, the birds were singing, the crops were swaying in the breeze and the farm animals were basking in the beauty of it all. Her alter ego Supercow speaks Spanish, and often exclaims: "¡Supercow al rescate!" ("Supercow to the rescue!") (in the Spanish edition of the show, she speaks the catch phrase in English). Supercow's powers lie in a green blanket that she wears as a cape and her outfit is purple with a logo on the chest which resembles that of Superman. Cow's alter ego is "Supercow", a superhero with the ability to fly. She also enjoys drinking her own milk and holding her utter. Although Cow can be silly and ditzy, she has a heart of gold.Ĭow has employed Blackmail to get Chicken to do what she wants and often attempts to get the other characters to do the right thing. Due to her intelligence, she often helps out to save Chicken or anybody. She often saves her brother in various situations. Cow is kind, sweet, nice, caring, polite, friendly, and loving to her family. She is the only character to appear in every episode of the the series. Cow looks up to her brother Chicken, whom she lovingly refers to as "Big Brother", but she is often viewed by Chicken as infantile and stupid, and is quickly prone to emotional outbursts. She is voiced by Charlie Adler.Ĭow is Chicken's 7 year old little sister, with a weight stated as 600 pounds. Cow is one of the main character of the Cartoon Network original series, Cow and Chicken.
